rural rednecks

if you've ever been to our house, you may recognize this.  yes, we have rugs in our driveway, or at least until about a week or so ago we did.  my dad came over and helped, and by help i mean he did it all, with some yard work and while he was at it, he disposed of a couple of rugs for us.  see the one on the right was pee-ed on by trevor, put outside by my mother-in-law, rained on, and then started to mold a bit, i think...the one on the left, was chewed on by trevor and plus cyndi didn't really like it much, so i took it outside.

the red one was put outside for a legitimate reason, but the second one was just to be stupid.  cyndi said...you could put it in the driveway with the other one...but was just kidding, but i chose to do it anyway because i thought it would be funny...and it was.

anyway...we have been purified of our rugs...but there will always be a little rural redneck in us after all.

consistancy

holy crap, it's hard to be consistant...at pretty much anything.  i came back from colorado wanting to read my bible and walk the dog everyday...that worked for about two weeks.  but the Lord is still in his temple, and there is still a faith that can make the mountains move...thats a paraphrased quote from a rich mullins song...i think of that quote a lot when i am feeling overwhelmed...it is good to know that God is stil on his throne, and nothing can remove him.

so here's to consistancy...

they don't get much cuter

for the love of God, they don't get any cuter than brennan.  it literally confounds me sometimes how i had any part in this.  if you know of a cuter kid, i think you might be wrong...cause i'm pretty sure that this is the cutest kid of all time...

sorry i've gotten behind on blogging.  i actually have a few that i've been planning on posting, but haven't gotten around to it.  new job, new baby, etc.
